Ken Lim grew up in a swimming family and his passion for swimming had led him to being a competitive swim coach in The Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) for 19 years. To name one of his career highlight, he was instrumental in nurturing National swimmer, Joseph Isaac Schooling during his formative years at the tender age of 6.

Ken is also passionate about triathlon. He represented Singapore as a national triathlete (1994 to 1995) and competed in several prominent meets like Asian Triathlon Championship. Subsequently, Ken went on to complete several Ironman and marathon races until he was diagnosed with cancer.

Yet, cancer did not kill his love for sports – upon recovery he returned to running and cycling almost immediately and has never looked back. Cancer also took him to give back by doing what he does best, rendering therapeutic massages for some elderly whom he crossed path.

Being an athlete and cancer survivor, Ken is the best person to relate with those who are plagued by injuries and frustrations of not being able to do what they love. He would not just be the hands that seek to serve the sufferers, but also an inspiration to those who are in the journey of recovery.
