Joanna has lived and worked in Singapore for six and a half years but is originally from Cornwall, south-west England. She graduated from St Thomas’s Hospital, London and has spent the majority of her 30-year professional career in both London NHS(public) and private hospitals, private clinics, and domiciliary care residences.
Joanna has travelled extensively so has also had the opportunity to work as a physiotherapist in Australia, and now Singapore, in two private sports and spinal injury clinics, and also as an in-house school physiotherapist for UWCSEA (United World College South East Asia) Tampines. She has also worked in other capacities in Belgium, New Zealand and the US of America.
Joanna specialises in musculo-skeletal conditions, including sports injuries and spinal complications. She also qualified as a Body Control Pilates mat-work instructor in Covent Garden, London, and has over 22-years experience in using dry needling for pain relief; both skills have proved invaluable within her clinical practice.
Joanna is passionate about her work, providing thorough clinical assessments and diagnosis, ensuring clients fully understand their problems and the rehabilitation to follow.
In addition to her love of travelling, Joanna practices yoga and Pilates regularly, and when the opportunity arises, loves to sail, wake-board, water-ski and snorkel.Professional Organisations:
